I have ordered some BB creams including this Missha BB Cream from Cosme-de.com last October 02, and it arrived Oct 12! It was so fast considering that it came from HongKong! :) They also have this thing when you first registered to them, they will give you $5 off on your first purchase. In my case, the $5 off did not register on my total amount so I emailed them about it but they said they will take the $5 off when they charge me on my card.

I got the #23 which is the Natural Beige
MY SHADE IN OTHER BRANDS:
MAC: It's been a year since I last got matched by a MAC MUA and she told me I am NC30.
MAKE UP FOREVER: I am #123 in their HD Invisible Foundation
NARS: I am Stromboli in Nars Sheer Glow foundation
MY TAKE:
PROS: It is very light, it doesn't look cake-y, it's easy to blend, it has this kind of like powdery finish which I really like because it looks natural! I like the fact that it has already SPF in it, so I don't have to worry about applying sunscreen to my face. It has whitening - which is great if you have uneven skin tone. It also has anti-wrinkle properties which is good. I really love this BB cream better than my L'egere BB cream before because of the effect it gives my skin.

CONS: It is not readily available (at least in my area). It can be drying. At least to me, because I have to use moisturizer or else it kind of look like I have dry patches on my chin area. It is also not "night friendly" What I mean by that is, if you are wearing this at night and you photograph yourself, you will have like a white cast. Your face will look much lighter than your entire body. I also don't like that they don't come in other shades. It would be better if they'll come up with darker shades.
OVERALL: I like it very much! I will repurchase for sure!

I was interested in buying this... they do have in a darker shade but very little people buy it due to the high cost compare to the two they always have (#21 and #23). I was afraid of buying the #23 because of how light it might become since I heard the BB cream shade is lighter than the shades over here that we're used to. Thanks for this!

Missha actually has 4 shades for this BB cream. They have shade #13 which is super light, #21 which is light, #23 (which you have) light medium (I still think it's quite light also), and #31 which is a medium color. When I tried #31, it was too dark for my skin, and #23 was a bit too light, but the combination of them both provides a very suitable color for me. I would suggest trying that out if you don't mind spending the money on another shade as well. You just have to find the right amount of each to combine to get a nice color. Hope that's a bit helpful :)

ReplyDeleteI love using #23 in the winter :) it's still a bit too pale for me right now since I got a little bit of a tan, but I plan to use it again this winter. They actually make a darker shade #31 - Tammy uses it and I think Pam was using it over the summer when she was a lot darker - they have a US site as well, I think they ship from NY or NJ, so it would arrive pretty fast too.
