I love eyeshadows!! :) I think I have more eyeshadows than lipgloss or lipstick or eyeliners. I love playing with colors. I love neutral palettes because you can use it everyday and it doesn't look too much.
I have the chance to try VLUX Cosmetics http://www.vluxcosmetics.com/ by Vivian. She contacted me herself and asked if I want to try her products. I browsed at the website, I don't see anywhere where I can check out the products to buy so I'm assuming you have to contact them at: contact@vluxcosmetics.com to place any orders.
The individual eyeshadow doesn't have a name so I just numbered them from 1-5.
I got the palette in Vintage
These are the Ingredients
Here are the swatches:
Lightly swatched (one swipe)
PROS: This palette has such gorgeous colors! I love how pigmented they are! Yup, amazingly pigmented like my MAC shadows! I also love how sleek the packaging is. The palette is nice to carry around and the mirror also is a plus when applying make up.
CONS: It's a bit expensive. It's priced $36, but it's still reasonable since it's a lot cheaper than MAC eyeshadows which for me has the same pigmentation. The last eyeshadow (#5) has fall outs.
OVERALL: They have nice selection of palettes in their website, and as a palette lover, I would totally recommend this :) Just remember to put some tape on the bottom of eyes to catch the fall outs.
My Rating:
Refer to this picture for the look I'm going to create.
● I used eyeshadow #1 all over my lid, crease, and brow bone for highlight. ●
● Then I used eyeshadow #4 all over my crease using a blending brush ●
● Then I applied eyeshadow #3 all over my lid using MAC 239 brush ●
● Then I applied eyeshadow #2 on the center of the lid ●
● Then I applied eyeshadow #5 to the V shaped part of my eyes *clean fall outs* ●
● Apply eyeliner. I used MAC Black Track ●
● Then I applied falsies. ●

ReplyDeletetheir colors are amazing and so pigmented.
could the fallout be because you are not tapping off the excess shadow before applying?
