Hello my loves! I've been so buys these past few days with my family staying with me for few days, going out with them and working in between. It's been tiring but fun!!
Hmmm.. anyway, I've been thinking of doing short posts on my blog. Kind of like my "outburst" of the day thing. I love my blog.. I feel like this is my outlet and it makes me happy reading my past blog posts :) So, when I'm sad or happy, sometimes I just want to write on here how I feel, or what made me sad/happy. Some people might think this blog became a "beauty blog" because of the beauty posts, beauty reviews and some sponsorship. But behind all those stuff, it's still my personal blog, so as much as possible, i add some personal stuff from time to time. Ok, kind of contradicting that I don't claim this a beauty blog.. lol. Ok, I'll call it "MY PERSONAL BEAUTY BLOG" hahaha! :P
*sigh* enough of my ramblings. Ok, just want to show you guys how I clean my fake lashes. I re-use them until the hair falls out :P
DIRTY FAUX LASHES =__= I try to clean them before I re-use them again, reason why is because I don't want to get any eye infection if I re-use a dirty fake lashes. It's like putting on a dirty underwear, and putting yourself at risk at any kind of infection down there. Hahaa! Ok, not a good comparison :P
I use my HG make up remover! Here's my review on this product: http://withadriyah.blogspot.com/2009/06/beauty-review-clinique-take-day-off.html
Couldn't count how many times I repurchased this product. I've been using this for 2+ years now. I love it too much!!
I wet them with running water.
Then I apply the Clinique Cleansing Balm. I massaged the Balm gently to the Fake lashes removing dirt and glue.
Optional: I use conditioner to make it soft and smells good :)
Then I let it air dry! TA-DAH!! Good as new! Haha :) Ready to be used!
Hope you all like this post. :P Will update again!! Missing you all! :D Another picture of me, just because :P Hahaha!!
FTC: I did not get paid for this post. Not affiliated with any company. Some of the lashes were given by kkcenterhk.com

oh my. I disposed all of them each time I used it, thanks for sharing this. I'll try to keep my falsies just like you =)
ReplyDeleteI think you should definitely do short, daily posts if you feel like it :) They're fun to read too!
ReplyDeleteI rarely use false lashes, but when I do, I just wash them with hand soap.. Maybe I need to wash them with something gentler like you do. Conditioner to make them soft is a great idea.
Your last picture is so cute! I see that peekaboo Hello Kitty pillow behind you ^^
great post! i also am loving the eyelash case looks really handy as im always finding random false eyelashes around the house lol
ReplyDeleteI've seen a pump version of the Take The Day Way cleanser. I thought about getting it one of these days but I just love my Philosophy Purity Cleanser. That is a great way to clean false lashes! I need to start practicing applying them.
ReplyDeletefinally broke down and bought the clinique makeup remover you love~! had to purchse through amazon after trying several clinique counters and getting the runaround from SA's!!! :)
ReplyDeletehi iyah! its nice to know you have your family around! must be lots of fun :)
ReplyDeletethanks to your post, i now know how to clean falsies! LOL! will clean my used pairs later. :)
That's a neat idea. I don't have any makeup removing balm, only the regular makeup removers. I find those very hard to use because I can't hold onto the little false lash when trying to remove the mascara and glue.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea babe! I'm so bad that I always end up throwing mine away after using it for one time -_-. tsk tsk on me... now I shall try to do this! I will! hehe
ReplyDeleteMiss you! I'm glad you're having fun w/ your family! I hope we get to hang out soon <3
I love the lashes in the bottom right corner in the last pic - they're so lush!
ReplyDeleteI reuse my falsies but I've never cleaned them like this before :O thanks for the idea girlie! :)
hahaha! the dirty underwear comparison is too funny!
ReplyDeletethat's a great idea babe :) i got really excited that you did a post about falsies because I have always been wondering how to clean them! I am planning on getting the take the day off balm sometimes this week since Macys is having a gwp, because you've mentioned it so many times and you love it! So hopefully it'll become my HG too <3
ReplyDeleteWow what a great idea, thanks for the tip. I never thought of cleaning my eyelashes before, I always end up tossing them. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow, girl. Thanks for the tip on how to clean false lashes. I was wondering how to clean them without messing them up. Your tip is helpful. :)
ReplyDeleteI need one of those eyelash cases! After washing my falsies I like to spray them with alcohol. It helps them dry a lil' faster so they don't get waterlogged and it's extra disinfection.
ReplyDeleteits funny how you compare the dirty underwear to false lashes. but it does make sense. they're both gross. anyways love your tips on how to clean the lashes.
ReplyDeletenice post. I don't normally wear false lashes everyday but I'll be sure to clean them whenever I do :)
ReplyDeleteNice tip! reusing falsies is the key! Imagine how much you save and how easy it is to reuse as they are already pre-cut to the shape of your eyes!
ReplyDeleteou lala, gonna try your conditioner recommendation bit =D
ReplyDeletedoes it only work for real human hair lashes??
